Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, nasceu em 16 de agosto de 1958, em Bay City, Michigan. Mudou-se para a cidade de Nova York para prosseguir uma carreira na dança moderna. Depois de se apresentar nos grupos de música Breakfast Club e Emmy , ela assinou com Sire em 1982 e lançou seu álbum de estréia, "Madonna", no ano seguinte. Ela o acompanhou com uma série de álbuns comercialmente bem sucedidos, vendendo mais de 300 milhões de discos em todo o Mundo e é reconhecida como a cantora que mais vendeu de todos os tempos pelo Guinness World Records.
Madonna foi imortalizada no Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
